Despite the connotations in many parts of modern society, the "hoody" is nothing sinister (at least when it comes to Woodcraft). Hoodies come in many varieties with large pockets to store all sorts of useful items. Hoodies can be red, green, navy or even specially designed. Some groups have made their own hoodies and used this as a group activity for a few weeks. One of the familiar feelings for many DF's is that of being engulfed in a hug from a hoodied DF and for this reason alone they hold a place in our hearts.

A handy tip: Wear woodie hoodies or other woodcraft visible clothing on the way to events, this makes you instantly recognisable and will gain you endless travelling buddies. This is especially useful if you don't know where the event is exactly, and it can save you money (and help the environment) in taxi shares!
