Stop The Traffik

What is it?

  • a global movement of ordinary activists from around the world who believe that PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE BOUGHT AND SOLD.’ It aims to curb the rising tide in everything from sweatshops and modern day slavery to forced marriages and sex trafficking.

Why are Woodies involved?

  • STOP THE TRAFFIK is an incredibly worthy cause for attention and action. It fits perfectly with Woodie ideals of human rights, egalitarianism and justice. Human trafficking affects people across the globe; regardless of gender, class or ethnicity; it permeates our communities and is all around us. There’s so much that can be done.

How should I help?

  • Be ready to participate in workshops, debates and talks at DF events, educate yourself and others about human trafficking, start dreaming up new and innovative ways that we as DFs can start to raise awareness and end this abuse.
