Rainbow Network
Rainbow Network
Whether you’re straight, gay, lesbian, asexual, confused or somewhere in between them all you should get involved with the Rainbow Network!
Tackling issues of identity, sexuality and gender, the Rainbow Network looks to actively educate DFs in anything from coming out and sexism to intersex and queer theory. Informal workshops ensure that anyone can get involved, no matter who you are!
If you’re wondering where to find us, we have a regular presence at DF events and at future national summer camps. We’re also hoping to run a Woodcraft Rainbow seminar in the near future. Plus, we get lots of opportunities to travel across Europe to learn lots of new Rainbow-orientated ideas and exchange ideas with people from both our mother organisation, IFM-SEI, and external Rainbow/ LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) organisations.
So where do you come into it? Whether you want to get involved with helping to run the Rainbow Network, facilitate a workshop, suggest a Rainbow campaign for us to focus on, join the e-group or anything else then please get in touch. Help to get Rainbow off the ground and into the sky!

Queer Easter
Queer Easter is one of our annual seminars hosted by the German Falken on behalf of the International Falcon Movement – Socialist Education International (our international organisation) and friends.
The event is a week over the Easter break for all young people aged 16 to 35 who would be interested in exploring the issues of gender, sex, sexuality and LGBT rights. The event is open to all people whether you are gay, straight or undecided.
The week involves getting to know over 100 new falcons and international Woodcraft friends from around Europe and the Middle East though seminars and workshops. As well as learning loads, this extravaganza will include partying, tours of Berlin, an evening event in the city and at the Education Centre. All bed and board in the Kurt Lőwenstein Education Centre is only €65 (£60) for the week including the trip to Berlin and the tours. Make sure that you don’t miss out and book early!
