Happy Ending for The Innuendo Person

At Althing DFs finally said goodbye to “The Innuendo Person”. At Althing 2009 DFs hastily passed a motion called for the election of an Innuendo Person at every DF Business event from then onwards. This person would listen to all conversation and debate and dingle his tiny bell whenever anybody said anything that could be interpreted in as an innuendo.

It was all a bit of a laugh but was pretty embarrassing for DF Committee to have to explain every event and an audible sigh of relief was heard when DFs passed a motion at Althing 2010 that finally got rid of the Innuendo Person. It was a hard debate but the climax was satisfactory

But…..what do you do with all those Innuendos now? Luckily a A mystery Venturer (We think THIS is her) has stepped into the breach and create THIS facebook page. Some are hilarious…others are less hilarious. Have a peek by clicking HERE.

Notable Innuendo People of The Past

Kate Hyatt was our first and treated us gently at Old/New 09

Seamus Walsh added a far more sophisticated edge to the role. Picking out the subtlest of innuendos at East Thing.

The Innuendo Horse was elected at Welsh Thing and did a remarkably good job as well as being hung like a horse.

Adam “Fiddler” Fiddler was the last ever Innuendo Person at Althing 10. Clearly born for the role he finished us off with grace and dignity.

  • Solomon

    Goodnight sweet prince.

  • Nemos

Solomon should be noted for having the most “likes” on the Facebook page. :P

    Also: Hooray! Innuendo horse!

  • Mystery ‘DF’

Heyyyy, who said it was a DF?

  • Ilya

I was actually elected as innuendo person at Althing ’09. However, there was no bell, so I had a glass and a spoon (which I didn’t use much…).

  • The Mystery “DF”

    I made the group :) and i’m a venturer :O

  • Cadan

The innuendo horse was never actually elected at Welsh Thing, but rather assumed the role because Zion was rubbish at it.

  • Wemsy

Haha nice link to my Facebook! XD
