Nominate the Next DF Campaign

We’ve just had 2 epic years of campaigning under the banners of No Nuclear Future and Stop The Traffik. We’ve seen fierce debate, fiercer protests, direct action, discussion and debate. We set up our own ironic protest group ZNA to call for a swifter apocalypse. We’ve hosted damn near all the full time staff from Stop The Traffik at one event or another. The 200 strong march in Bradford has gone down as one of the defining moments of DF history and although we haven’t quite stopped Trident yet at least we’re not all radioactive corpses just yet!

But now it’s that time again. Time to look forward. Once every 2 years there is a very special Althing. Where we not only decide Committees & Councils, not only suss out motions and musings to define the future of DFs but we also choose the next 2 year long Campaign! Last year we made the unusual decision to roll with 2 campaigns. Question is…….What’s it gonna be?

Answer is – you decide! We need you to nominate a campaign that DFs and the new DF Campaigns rep can get their teeth into over the next 2 years. It’s a big decision so if something is important to you, it’s important you speak up. Just click the button below to get started:

Motions & Musings Deadline

In other news the deadline for submitting motions and musings fast approaches! It’s Tuesday the 24th of August so get a jog on! If you miss the deadline you can submit emergency motions as late as the Friday night before Althing starts but those emergency ones are so late that we will get to them last and they may not get debated at all – which would be rubbish!
