Missed Althing? Read the Minutes

Minutes are a formal(ish) record of what went down at a certain meeting. Sometimes they are very detailed and include word by word what people say. At Althing the important thing is to get down all the decisions but also to record a flavour of each discussion and key points for moving fowards. New DF Regional Council & Committee will use these minutes as a tool during the hand over @ Old/New.

The Hotseat is something unique to DFs and still in testing grounds. The intention is to hold elected individuals to account without having to sit through endless reports. Its fair to say we haven’t cracked it yet but it still makes for an interesting read particularly when committee members are saying different things. Do you agree with their responses?
