DFs are great and older people that are no-longer DFs are good too so whycant they have events together?
The answer is, they can! And they will:
The Walking Event
On the may bank holiday, a group of around twenty DFs and Kinsfolk will go walking in the lake district. The routes were begun to be drawn at winter wonderland and will be completed to the requirements of the walkers at the event.
This event is open to any member over the age of sixteen. Booking early ensures you a sleeping place in the camping barn, otherwise you’ll have to bring a tent. We will let you know with the booking confirmation. The event costs forty pounds including fairer fare pool.
The End-Of-DF-Camp
DFs have decided to invite young kinsfolk (aged 16-25) to the last two nights of DF Camp 09. In the same way that we want to invite younger and new prospective members to the Taster Camp at the start of DF Camp Proper, it is thought that sharing some more experiences with those who have already come through DFs will be beneficial to all.
Get in touch with anyone you know of young kinsolf age, and make sure they know about it!

The District Fellows Movement is the 16-20 year old members of the co-operative educational youth charity, the woodcraft folk, whose ideology is based on the principles of equality, peace, social justice and co-operation, with an emphasis on the empowerment of young people.
DF meetings usually consist of a group of like minded individuals meeting up at a regular time and place (someone's house, or a pub for instance, or even a community hall if the group is large enough) and taking part in usual woodcraft activities. These activities range from co-operative games, orgainising events, workshops and discussions, and general socialising!
The DF movement also meets up on a national basis frequently, to hold both social, educational events and business events allowing everyone to be involved in the running of DF's...
