YOU!

…well, more importantly they need your photographs, drawings and
holiday snaps! We’ve all taken that brilliant photograph while away
and thought “that really captures the magic of traveling, it should be
shared, infact, that would look perfect in a DF InternationArt
Gallery!”
if you are able to then get the DF Logo in to the photo
Some of you may be wondering what the chuff a photo of your little
sister playing on a beach in corfu has to do with The Woodcraft Folk.
In a way you’d be right to think in that way BUT as an organization we
want to start this new year looking at our global picture, and then
framing it!

If enough get submitted by December 1st some of the entries will be
showcased at our very own Gallery at the International themed North
East Thing on 11th-13th of December in Durham!
THEN when we have all the individual global experiences, we’ll see how
colourfully traveled we all are, get together, travel together and
make an album this year that we can show case in a years time…

The District Fellows Movement is the 16-20 year old members of the co-operative educational youth charity, the woodcraft folk, whose ideology is based on the principles of equality, peace, social justice and co-operation, with an emphasis on the empowerment of young people.
DF meetings usually consist of a group of like minded individuals meeting up at a regular time and place (someone's house, or a pub for instance, or even a community hall if the group is large enough) and taking part in usual woodcraft activities. These activities range from co-operative games, orgainising events, workshops and discussions, and general socialising!
The DF movement also meets up on a national basis frequently, to hold both social, educational events and business events allowing everyone to be involved in the running of DF's...
