Vice Chair

Jess Poyner

I’m Jess, one of your lay members and vice chair of committee. At the moment I’m studying for my A levels in London where I also help out with the DF-run Woodchips group when I can. One of the things that this years DF Committee is really keen on is helping to support DFs to start up or rejuvenate groups in your local district using the BRAND SPANKING NEW DF ROOTS FUND!
This is an idea that was brought to Althing to encourage more DFs to get involved, or more involved with their local districts. Grants for up to £500 are available from the DF Roots Fund, click HERE for more information.
My other job as lay member is to support ctte members, and with the Vice Chair hat on, to specifically help the Chair in organising Althing and Mini Things at social events.
