Shalom! I’m from the the sunny town of Hebden Bridge, In the North West
region. I’m about music, life, laughter and love! I’m new to commitee this year, and have a
lot of big ideas i will be telling you all about so watch this space. I’m really massively
looking forward to this year, and getting to meet more of you brilliant DF’s through the
skillful art of Fundraising.
Fundraising is pretty self explanitory, it’s about raising funds! So that money can go to
projects, events, and all the other beautiful ideas Df’s come up with! Fundraising can be
about BIG amounts of money, or little dispersed fundraising projects, that as a collective,
which is exactly what woodcraft is about, working collectively make a big difference.
A really important part of this role for me is working together, i really can’t do it
without your input, so if you have any ideas as wild, as wacky or as brilliantly normal
as you like,or, if you already have an idea, and just want to investigate funding please
don’t hesitate to get in contact. i have phone, email, i even know how to text these days
so if you want to chat about ideas, or just want a chinwag to see how you
can get involved in other ways, just get in touch!

The District Fellows Movement is the 16-20 year old members of the co-operative educational youth charity, the woodcraft folk, whose ideology is based on the principles of equality, peace, social justice and co-operation, with an emphasis on the empowerment of young people.
DF meetings usually consist of a group of like minded individuals meeting up at a regular time and place (someone's house, or a pub for instance, or even a community hall if the group is large enough) and taking part in usual woodcraft activities. These activities range from co-operative games, orgainising events, workshops and discussions, and general socialising!
The DF movement also meets up on a national basis frequently, to hold both social, educational events and business events allowing everyone to be involved in the running of DF's...
