Book Now for Scottish Thing!

This is the first DF business event to happen in Scotland for a long, long time, if not forever, so make sure you come along to make DF history!

Scottish Thing is a weekend long, residential event where local DF’s and members of the DF Committee and Regional Council and anyone and everyone else from the movement come together to learn about the inner workings and decide the future of DFs. Coming to a Thing is the best way to get your voice heard and make the movement your own. The time we spend discussing business is intermingled with workshops, brilliant food and lots of biscuits to break up the day. It will also be a great place for Scottish DFs to come together and decide what they want from their region and perhaps set up a regional committee of their own.

If this is your first Thing its completely FREE; if you’re coming back it’s still only £10! What a bargain, you’d be crazy to miss out!

The date: 4th – 6th March 2011

The location: Craigshiels Outdoor Centre, Ae Forest, near Dumfries

Travelling to Scottish Thing

From the south - Get a train to Dumfries and then either a bus or taxi from there to Ae Village or straight to Craigshiels centre. If you can’t get a bus (details to follow) then try to group book taxis because it is about a 10 mile journey.

From Edinburgh - it is much cheaper to get a bus. Please contact me directly and we’ll try and organise a way to get there all together.

Please send your Thing booking forms to:
