Blank Canvas 2010 Cancelled….for now

The Bad News
Blank Canvas 2010 has had to be called off.
Unfortunately last week a hole load of administrative stuff from central woodcraft cropped up.
The Good News
This turn of events was frustrating and unexpected but it is not the end of the story. Blank Canvas is a totally new event on an epic scale above what we’ve grappled with before. There were always going to be challenges we have not met previously and some teething issues. The cancellation of Blank Canvas after nearly a year of planning is a blow but is also opportunity to reinvigorate the project with a new generation fresh with ideas and energy. It’s a chance to build on the momentum that was already rolling and add to it. With the funding for 2011 secure, TREE fully on board, many of the contacts made and the national interest alight the year ahead will be an exciting time to colour the canvas with a whole host of other organisations, people and ideas beyond what we had ever conceived possible.
