Big Green Challenge

Venturers, DFs and group leaders are needed to support Woodcraft Folk to meet the ‘Big Green Challenge’ of reducing CO2 by 10% in 2010.

Woodcraft Folk are looking for 25 young people to develop new climate change and energy saving activities for use in Woodcraft Folk groups across the country.

Activities will involve:

  • Finding out more about climate change and how to save energy
  • Presentation skills training
  • Testing and developing new activities

    • A working weekend is planned for late October and will include sessions by:

  • UK Youth Climate Coalition
  • Young UnLtd
  • The Centre for Alternative Technology
  • De Montfort University
  • C-Change volunteers

    • So if you fancy a weekend away in Manchester (30th October – 1st November) and doing your bit to reduce CO2 then I’d love to hear from you.
