Badges!

Special Interest Group

 

Badge work is an important part of sharing and learning about Woodcraft Folk’s aims and principles, but these badges have become archaic and now disused and obsolete.

However now is the time to rejuvenate badge work, and create and design an exciting range of new badges for everyone, including ‘leaders’ and other DFs. These badges could be for something like KPing an event or herding a gaggle of pioneers up a mountain or cycling to an event.

So if anyone is interested in helping with designing or writing or anything to do with badge work, email Tom: tom.gower@woodcraft.org.uk to join the badge work Special Interest Group.

    Ah yes badges. Anyone else think back to AG2011 when reading this?

    In my opinion badges dont work for woodcraft, its too scouty and woodcraft is not scouts! No offence scouts.
